VMware is a great application if you want to run a different operating system on your computer without having to go to install on a separate partition, the creation of dual-boot options and all the related problems that may arise.

If you use a default configuration, the actual disk space requirements are about the same as those for installing and running the guest O / S and applications on one physical computer.
